Life Stationery has been making luxurious fountain pen friendly paper in Tokyo since 1949. When most paper manufacturers shifted to paper optimized for printing rather than handwriting, Life developed their own original paper specifically for fountain pen users. The L Label Writing Pad is a classic correspondence item that's remained essentially unchanged from its original design, featuring rich cream paper with horizontal lines and Life's famous watermarked L.
This isn't off-the-shelf paper. Life creates their own proprietary stock that resists feathering and bleed-through while providing excellent shading for fountain pen inks. At 30 sheets per pad, it's designed for letter writing, note taking, or any writing where the quality of the paper actually matters. The A5 size makes it versatile for correspondence, lists, or serious writing sessions.

Amazing!!!!! there is nothing like this store in Hamilton or even Auckland, speciality stationery and so much of it is Japanese, my fav! Very cute store. Penco, Midori, Supreme, Moleskine, etc. inside an old fashioned arcade, easy enough to find.

Tom stocks some of the best quality and designed stationary products you can find in New Zealand. His customer service is also top draw and excellent. I had a few issues with a pen I had bought, Tom offered some tips to help work through and after that didn’t work he offered some store credit to try something else.
