The hexagonal barrel is made from MAPKA (51% paper powder, 49% polypropylene)—the same material used in MD Correction Tape and other MD accessories. This gives the pen a matte, paper-like texture that feels distinctly different from standard plastic pens, recreating the tactile quality of MD Paper itself in pen form.
