Midori solved this by creating double-layered envelopes: MD Paper on the outside (same cream tone, same texture) with a thin tissue liner inside. This preserves the writing comfort while keeping correspondence private, making these envelopes an actual extension of MD Paper rather than generic containers for it.

The Sideways orientation (114 × 180mm) is designed specifically for horizontally-ruled MD Letter Pad sheets folded in thirds.
